Gunmen kidnap Nkiru Sylvanus, demand N100m
Special Assistant to Governor Rochas Okorocha on Public Affairs,
Nkiru Sylvanus, was, yesterday, kidnapped in Owerri, the Imo State
capital.
The Nollywood actress, who was kidnapped at 2.30pm, was only recently re-deployed from the state Liaison Office in Lagos.
She was reportedly abducted close to the famous Concord Hotel, Owerri, in the company of some of her friends.
Though details of the incident were still sketchy at press time, it was learnt that the abductors have established contact with her family and have demanded a ransom of N100 million.
The incident could not be confirmed as repeated calls made to the mobile phone of State Commisioner of Information, Chinedu Offor, proved futile.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Vitalis Onugu, could also not be reached for comments as his mobile phone could not be reached. source: vanguard

Super
Eagles and West Brom forward Osaze Odemwingie is confident of making
the final list for the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa in January
but he is uncertain how he will cope when his wife gives birth to their
first child in the same month.
Odemwingie was excluded from the team
that played Venezuela in a friendly in Miami last month after coach
Stephen Keshi reportedly said the striker was not willing to play for
Nigeria. Both men have made up and the player is almost certain of
making the squad.
But Odemwingie’s wife, Sarah, is due to
give birth to a son less than a fortnight before the tournament, meaning
the 31-year-old’s preparations could be affected if the baby arrives
late.
“I hope it won’t affect my involvement,”
said Odemwingie. “You can’t predict what will happen but I hope for a
scenario where it will be easy.
“The due date is about 10 days before
the African Cup of Nations. Babies can be late, or early, but in this
case I pray it’s earlier so everything will go smoothly.
“The preparation period (for the
tournament) is usually about 10-14 days. Sometimes the home-based
players start earlier. That will be discussed soon.”
It appears certain both Odemwingie and
DR Congo midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu will miss up to a month of West
Brom ’s season from mid-January.
“I will be playing,” said Odemwingie.
“There is no problem with the coach (Keshi). I couldn’t make the last
game for personal reasons. I am in his plans, we have spoken well and,
as far as I’m concerned, I will be called up.
“It’s bad I will miss games for Albion because I am full of desire, we’ve had a good start and I want that to continue.
“But I’ve had to leave before when I played in France and Belgium . Steve Clarke has given me his blessing.
“When we were due to play in Miami for a midweek game and I came to the training ground he said ‘what are you doing here?’
“He likes to encourage us to play. He thinks it makes us better. I have his blessing, which is a good thing.
“I’m confident Albion have a good squad to cope with this. We have options when myself and Youssouf are gone.”

NDLEA Ambassadors: Stella Damasus, Lamboginny set to fight drug abuse
The recent effort made by music act, Yinka Lawanson a.k.a Lamboginny
and Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus where they solicited assistance
for flood victims in Delta State, may not have gone unrecognised after
all, as they have been appointed by the National Law and Drug
Enforcement Agency, NDLEA as its ambassadors.
The renowned entertainers who were officially unveiled as the new ambassadors during the week at the NDLEA headquarters in Lagos, are expected to sensitise the Nigerian youths on the dangers associated with illicit drug trafficking and usage.
Speaking at the event, the Director-General of the agency, Dr. Otunba Femi Ajayi, said Damasus and Lamboginny were selected due to the outstanding impacts on youths and the society at large.
Lamboginny’s ‘Say No To Crime’ project, he noted, was worthy of emulation while Stella has been an inspiration to the youths through her numerous projects. He, therefore, urged the ambassadors to be active champions against drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking in Nigeria.
“The role of counter-narcotic champions have become more crucial with the increasing abuse of uncontrolled substances with psycho-active and mood-changing effects. The law cannot properly regulate the use and abuse of illicit drugs. So, the only way out is to embark on public enlightenment and drug abuse education. This has made the use of champions, advocate and good will Ambassadors very important to the NDLEA, ” he stated.
While receiving the endorsement certificates presented to them by the NDLEA, the duo stated that their decision to collaborate with the agency was informed by the need to contribute their own quota to the fight against criminal activities in the country.
According to Stella; “we want to partner NDLEA in saving lives. There is so much work to be done in sensitising the public on drug abuse and other related harmful habits.”
The Ambassadors, however, used the occasion to elicit the support and cooperation of Nigerians in achieving the goal of a drug-free society.

AFCON 2013: NFF goes tough on Euro clubs
The Nigeria Football Federation will not hesitate to invoke the
necessary provisions in FIFA statutes on the release of players by clubs
should there be any difficulty in getting Nigerian players for early
camping, ahead of the 2013 AFCON, beginning January in South Africa.
Subsequently, the NFF has fixed January 4, 2013 as deadline for the release of all their Europe-based professionals needed by Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi for the AFCON.
General secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Musa Amadu said they will invoke the rule that stipulates clubs to release players at least 14 days to a major competition like the Nations Cup.
“The foreign clubs are obliged to release the players two weeks to the competition, so we expect all the players to be in Faro, Portugal, by January 4,” said Amadu.
“Otherwise, we will employ sanctions on the players and the clubs involved.”
The release of their Europe-based pros is crucial forNigeria, whose squads for the 2010 and 2008 editions of the Nations Cup were wholly players from overseas.
Most of the leagues in Europe will break for the Christmas, butNigeriamay be headed on a collision course with clubs in the English premier League for the release of the likes of Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Osaze Odemwingie and Shola Ameobi.
Former Super Eagles skipper Mutiu Adepoju, who played for several top Spanish clubs like Racing Santander and Real Sociedad, has backed the NFF on their insistence on the prompt release of the players.
“The FIFA rule is very clear on this issue. So I support the NFF to drag any club to FIFA. We need these players to be early to camp for proper blending,” Adepoju told MTNFootball.com

Robbers hit bus park in Nigeria
Passengers, staff and residents of
Nsukka, eastern Nigeria, were gripped with fear when armed robbers on
Thursday, invaded Peace Mass Transit Park in Nsukka in Enugu State,
carting away an undisclosed amount of money.
A staff of the company, who pleaded anonymity, said that the seven-man robbery gang, wearing mobile police uniform, stormed the ticketing office at about 3.28 p.m.
He said that the robbers, who brandished AK 47 rifles, ordered the workers to lie flat on the ground.
“They came with a school bus, belonging to Imilke-Agu Secondary School.
“Three of them entered the ticketing room, searched the lockers where we keep money and removed the money they found there while the others mounted sentry outside.
“The robbers, who wore mobile police uniform, shot in the air several times to scare people,” the staff told NAN.
A Nsukka Office Manger of the company, a retired police officer, who refused to disclose his full names, but identified himself simply as Mr Ogaranya, said he sensed danger when he heard harsh voices asking of the manager’s office.
They ordered me to lie down and asked me to tell them where money is kept. All of them wore mobile police uniform and were armed with AK47 rifles.
“I do not know how much they collected; all I know is that they collected all the money in my locker.
“I thank God we have moved the money we collected in the morning to the bank,’’ Ogaranya said.
NAN reports that traders and artisans who ply their trade at the park, immediately closed shop for the day after the incident.
When contacted, the Enugu State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Mr Ebere Amarizu, who confirmed the incident, said that police had started trailing the robbers.
“I have been informed of the robbery incident in PMT Nsukka Office today, the Police have started trailing the robbers,” he said.

OKONJO-IWEALA’S Mother: Army arrests 63 suspects
As security operatives intensified search for Professor
Kamene Okonjo, the mother of Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi
Okonjo-Iweala, who was abducted last Sunday from her home, the Nigerian
army said yesterday that 63 people have so far been arrested over the
kidnap.
According to Army spokeswoman, Roseline Managbe who spoke with Reuters.”Yesterday the Four Brigade raided Ogwashi-Ukwu in search of Mama, and 63 people were arrested in the raids.
“Those arrested are being questioned,” she added.
Residents of the area, where Okonjo-Iweala’s mother was abducted, now reportedly live in fear of the near daily abductions.

“Those arrested are being questioned,” she added.
Residents of the area, where Okonjo-Iweala’s mother was abducted, now reportedly live in fear of the near daily abductions.
“It could be my turn tomorrow,” said Tony Agwu, who lives near Okonjo’s house.
“It’s
a terrible situation down here. The security situation in the Delta is
disturbing,” he added, voicing the widely held view that security forces
are often complicit.
“Around this time during
Christmas I start to get worried,” said Shopia Oko-Akoko, a civil
servant and mother of two in Bayelsa State, adding that she often looks
over her shoulder entering her car.
“Many times I’ve seen cars following me. Once someone followed me on foot and I ran off in terror as he approached.”
Okonjo’s kidnapping is a risky strategy for the abductors
“If
it’s just a kidnap for ransom, then they’re not the smartest boys in
the world,” said Peter Sharwood-Smith,Nigeriacountry manager of security
firm Drum Cussac.
“Everybody else learned that you don’t pick the most high profile. It’s not worth it. This might not end well for them.
“Kidnapping
is worse than during the militancy period, but it’s mostly rich
Nigerians who pay up and you never hear about it,” Sharwood-Smith said.
Political
motives have been suggested for the abduction. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s
drive to reform a corrupt economy ruffled powerful vested interests,
especially fuel importers.
“Whatever the motive,
the main cause is joblessness,” said Felix Osaduwe, a student in Delta
state. “Get them jobs in a bank or a firm, there’s no way they’ll turn
to kidnapping.”
Two policemen who were supposed to
be on duty guarding the palace but were not on duty at the time of the
kidnap are also in detention. It was gathered that a contact has already
been established with the kidnappers who reportedly reduced the ransom
being demanded as a pre-condition for her release from $1 billion to
N200 million.
According to sources, the reduction
in the ransom followed the negotiation between Onyema, one of the sons
of the abducted woman and the kidnappers.
Meanwhile,
Police inDeltaStateare investigating the involvement of three suspected
kidnappers who were arrested on their way to Ogwashi-Uku on Sunday,
December 9 morning, the same day Professor Kamene Okonjo, the
82-year-old mother of the
Minister of Finance, Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was abducted by a 10-man kidnap gang in broad daylight.
Aduba confirms arrest of suspects
DeltaStateCommissioner
of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, who confirmed the arrest of the three
suspected kidnappers, however, said the police have not established
their involvement and otherwise with the gang that seized the queen
mother.
His words, “It (kidnap of Professor
Okonjo) was really a setback because that same day, we were able to
round up three young men that were heading to Ogwashi-Uku for a kidnap.
“One
of them was armed. Nobody knows their identification, they were
unidentified, three of them and they are still with us. There is going
to be a press conference and you will see them. So that is the thing,
honestly, it took every person by surprise.” he added.
SSG meets with service providers
Secretary
to the Delta State Government, Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay, yesterday,
in Asaba met behind closed doors with communication service providers.
The
details were not made public, but it was believed that the discussions
centered on how they could help in providing timely information on the
call log of kidnappers and communication made by kidnappers to relations
of their victims and other related matters.
Police parade 26 kidnappers
Commissioner
Aduba, who addressed reporters in Asaba, yesterday, paraded about
26-suspected kidnappers that were arrested in the last few months by the
police and assured that the police were doing everything possible to
ensure a crime-free yuletide.
Adopt personal security measures
On
why the palace was porous security wise, he said: “I don’t want to join
issues with anybody. I visited the monarch on Thursday, (December 6),
there was no complaint of such that bothers on security. In a palace,
there are supposed to be palace chiefs, there are supposed to be palace
guards. The Emir of Bauchi, can you enter his palace? I am asking. The
Sultan of Sokoto, can you enter his palace”?
kidnappings: US officials meet Kuku
…as cries out over cloned e-mail
Concerned
by the rising wave of high profile kidnappings in the Niger Delta
Region, officials of theUnited states of America’s Department of State
met the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Chairman of
the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Hon. Kingsley Kuku, inAbuja,
yesterday, to discuss ways to stem the tide.
Mr.
Neal Kringle who led a three-man delegation of the meeting said his
office was prepared to collaborate with the Kuku team to ensure a
peaceful Niger Delta, which he considered a pre-condition for the
desired rapid development of the region.
Boy Who Celebrated His 12th Birthday At 12 Midnight On 12:12:12 Is The Antichrist
Yes, it is no longer Barack Obama. As some already know, the American President had been recently fingered as the “Antichrist” by some people for some reasons best known to them.
However, there is apparently a new candidate for the post!
Well,
the number 12 has been a recurring figure in young Kiam Moriya’s life.
Thus, it had been noted that when he turns 12, the whole world would be
watching! The Alabama boy – who loves Krispy Kreme donuts and BMX biking
– was born at 12:12 p.m. on December 12, 2000.
His
twelfth birthday fell on Wednesday, 12/12/12. And his father had this
to say: “We’ve joked around that he’s the chosen one,” Kiam’s father,
Kazuo Moriya, told Today.com.
While
some say his son is lucky, others fear the boy is a sign of a pending
apocalypse. “There are these weirdoes out there online, all these
doomsday people, saying he needs to be killed and that he’s the
Antichrist,” Moriya said. “We’re trying to tone it down because it’s a
little freaky. It’s just a fun little story.”
The
numerically bizarre date has swept the nation into frenzy, as
luck-seekers scoop up lottery tickets and couples seek marriage licenses
to wed on Wednesday. Real weirdoes, isn’t it? No wonder nothing will
come out of their stories!
War Brews Between President Jonathan and VP, Sambo
A
cold war brewing between President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President
Namadi Sambo came out in the open last weekend as the two political
figures attended two different events with their political allies.
Mr.
Jonathan was in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, to bury his
brother, Meni, while Vice President Sambo was in Kaduna to give his two
daughters, Aisha and Huwaila, out in marriage.
A top official of the Peoples Democratic Party told SaharaReporters that many members of the party were baffled that the president fixed the burial of his brother on the same day that his vice president had set for his two daughters’ marriage.
A top official of the Peoples Democratic Party told SaharaReporters that many members of the party were baffled that the president fixed the burial of his brother on the same day that his vice president had set for his two daughters’ marriage.
SaharaReporters
learnt that Mr. Sambo’s daughters’ wedding had been scheduled months
ago. “The president knew about the wedding and received his invitation
long before his brother died on November 20,” said our source, adding
that First Lady Patience Jonathan had been tapped to be “Mother of the
Day” at the nuptials.
Several
sources disclosed that the relationship between the President and the
Vice President started to deteriorate when Sambo received reliable
indications that Mr. Jonathan was determined to run for another term in
office. The prospect of the president’s going for a second term has
alarmed Northern political figures, among them the vice president, who
had been calculating ways of retaking Nigeria’s highest political
office.
“We
know that some northern elders have been putting pressure on Vice
President Sambo to position himself to challenge the president,” said a
source close to Mr. Jonathan.
Other
sources in Aso Rock told us that President Jonathan was well aware that
Mr. Sambo is exploring options for running for the presidency in 2015.
“He has been trying to raise his profile and rally political
heavyweights and operatives to his corner,” said a Jonathan associate.
The source accused the VP of “trying to flex his political muscles, but
he should know that, even if Mr. President decides not to run, he [the
president] will still have a say in who succeeds him.”
One
of Mr. Jonathan’s men said that they came close to declaring war “after
Vice President Sambo selected a powerful delegation and went with them
to pay a condolence visit to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on the loss of his
daughter.”
A
political observer described the scenes in Yenagoa and Kaduna last
weekend as resembling “a realignment of political forces around
President Jonathan and Vice President Sambo.” Those who mourned with Mr.
Jonathan in Yenagoa included Senate President David Mark, who also has
presidential ambitions, as well as numerous Nollywood players. On the
other hand, such personalities as Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Muhammadu
Buhari and several Northern political figures, traditional rulers and
business executives attended the vice president’s more festive event.
A
source close to the vice president disclosed that Mr. Jonathan was in a
precarious position. “He is waging an ongoing political war against
[former President Olusegun] Obasanjo,” said the source.
A
confidant of President Jonathan’s admitted that members of the
president’s camp were angry at Mr. Obasanjo for trying to remotely
control the ruling party long after his exit from power. The People
Democratic Party recently stated that there was no plan to reconcile the
president and Mr. Obasanjo.
On
his part, Mr. Obasanjo has said in private and public forums that
President Jonathan is bound to leave in 2015. The former president’s
statement is at odds with Aso Rocks’ strategy of leaving Mr. Jonathan’s
opponents guessing as to his next plans.
Police Uncover Justin Bieber Murder Plot…$2,500 Offered For Each Of His Tésticles
Police
have arrested two men for allegedly plotting a murder-for-hire, with
the target none other than pop sensation Justin Bieber.
New
Mexico natives Mark Staak and his nephew Tanner Ruane were arrested
late last month in Vermont, and police claim they were planning on
killing four people at the behest of a prison inmate named Dana Martin.
Martin
was incarcerated for a 2000 murder, and was going to hire Staak and
Ruane to kill two of the witnesses to his crime. Then, Martin wanted the
two men to kill Bieber – apparently, Martin is obsessed with the singer
and has a tattoo of Bieber on his leg.
The murder was supposed to occur in conjunction with Bieber’s concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Martin
wanted the men to kill Bieber by strangling him with a paisley tie,
which is apparently Martin’s calling card. But the prisoner had second
thoughts, and ratted out the two men to officers instead.
But
it gets more grisly – Martin wanted the two men to castrate Bieber, and
allegedly offered $2,500 (N394,175) a piece for his tésticles. Staak
was arrested in Vermont on an outstanding warrant, and his nephew was
later picked up in New York with pruning shears on his person –
apparently in order to carry out the castration.

Kamene Okonjo Kidnap: Kidnappers Demand $ 1.26 Million, Finance Minister's Resignation
Okonjo family members have established
communication with kidnappers of Prof. Kamene Okonjo, the mother of
Nigeria's Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Eighty-three-year-old Kamene Okonjo was kidnapped Monday. It was also learnt that the kidnappers had also reduced their ransom from $ 1 billion to $ 1.26 million.
A highly-placed security source told reporters that secret negotiation had commenced with the kidnappers because of the fragile health of the retired professor of Sociology and pressure from higher quarters.
It was also learnt that the abductors are demanding the immediate resignation of Dr. Okonjo-Iweala as Finance Minister. This demand gives reason to suspect that the kidnap may be politically motivated.
Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, in an interview on Wednesday in Asaba, after a meeting with his Divisional Police Officers, expressed confidence that the detained professor would be rescued soon.
The CP said, “We are looking at the whole place because in any palace, there are supposed to be palace guards – that is local security before you talk of that of the police.
“And so, we are looking at the obvious flaws and then, take the necessary action. We do not want to jump the gun. In the past, we have been able to rescue about 30 people without payment of ransom. “I am sure that the strategy we are putting in place will yield dividends.
“We know that anything that has to do with kidnapping, there is always an insider factor. It has always been there, just like armed robbery.”
Aduba added that the police had extended their dragnet “within and without”.
A source said the kidnappers decided to delay contact with the Okonjo family as a result of heavy deployment of policemen, army and other security operatives around the palace and the community immediately after the kidnap
On Wednesday, it was, however, observed that the heavy security presence in the last few days around the home of the Okonjos in Ogbe-Ofu quarters had been relaxed.
But the policemen refused visitors access to the compound, saying, “No visitor is wanted here.” Traditional chiefs that make up the Obi-in-Council met behind closed doors at the palace grounds in connection with the kidnap of the Obi’s wife.
Undercover security operatives flooded drinking joints, markets and public places in search of useful information.
Sources told our correspondent on Wednesday that the investigators had also invited some domestic workers of the Okonjos for interrogation as it was believed that some of them might have connived with the kidnapppers to carry out the operation.

Woman Accepts Jesus at The Age of 108
If a family tree was drawn, there would be photos of nearly 100 children and grandchildren. Lula Wallace had a big family. she was the mother of 11, grandmother of 22, great-grandmother of 45 and great-great-grandmother of 20.
At the age of 108, she accepted Jesus Christ, was baptized and became a member of even a bigger family. Consequently, her brothers and sisters in Christ believe that when she passed away at the age of 109, she went to be with her eternal family in heaven.
The inspirational story of the late Wallace's new found faith in
Christ, first reported by The Christian Chronicle, took over a century
to reach its glorious climax.
"I feel God has kept her around this long for a reason," said Virginia Mack, Wallace's 66-year-old daughter.
Thirty years earlier, Virginia Mack confessed faith in Christ through the witness of her older sister, Margaret Cooke, who also played a role in introducing their mother, the late Wallace, to the Lord.
Cooke prayed for over 50 years that Wallace would accept the Gospel. And whenever an opportunity presented, the 78-year-old daughter would share "a few words" about having faith in Christ.
"We've just always made sure that we lived the life before her and let her know that Christ always came first in our lives," Cooke told the Chronicle.
Cooke was persistent in praying for her mom and asking her if she wanted to baptized even though her mom had turned down baptism several times.
One day, God answered her prayers.
Cooke and her mother were reminiscing about old times together as Wallace laid in bed. Wallace then complained that "people just don't want to do what God wants them to do," according to Chronicle.
"Oh, you are so right," Cooke replied. Seizing the opportunity to share the Gospel message with Wallace, Cooke led her mother through the Bible, starting from Genesis to Jesus' death on the cross.
When Cooke finished, she asked her mother with a smile, "Don't you want to be baptized?"
Wallace's reply was simple yet life-changing. "Yes, " she told Cooke.
Cooke was so shocked that she asked a second time, only to receive the exact same reply from Wallace. She was ready to be baptized
In her confession during baptism, the Chronicle reported Mama Wallace as telling the minister: "Listen, I'm not doing this for no man. I'm doing this for myself and God."
Wallace's two grandchildren help to lower her wheelchair down into the water at the church. After her baptism, members at the Memphis church welcomed her as a new sister in Christ.
On Nov. 29, Wallace died at the age 109. Her death comes about one year after her "touching and inspiring" story was published.

I’m Angry At Nollywood – Actor Emeka Ike
For
those wondering why his face has been scarce in movies, popular act and
Nollywood’s lover boy actor, Emeka Ike, has finally let the cat out of
the bag.
Emeka
recently in an interview said he’s presently angry with Nollywood. And
as a result, he’s temporarily quitting acting in a bid to ‘strategize’.
According to him, he’s not happy with the industry at the moment which has made him to withdraw all his movies from the market.
Emeka says he doesn’t want to be associated with the ‘decay’ going on in the industry hence, he prefers to ‘stand out’.
He
also revealed that he’s coming out with his own label, Emeka Ike
Production and that marketing of his movies will be done under the
label. And that any transaction as touching him as an actor will be done
under his new label which separates him from dealing with Nollywood.
“I
have not quit Nollywood in the real sense of the word. What I did was
to withdraw all my movies from the market, and I mean all the movies
that are related with Emeka Ike…and the reason is not far fetched. I am
angry with what is going on in the industry. My conscience would not
allow me to go on with the decay in the industry.
So,
I feel that was the best thing to do, to dissociate myself from the
problem and stand out! So, henceforth, any Nollywood movie would not
involve Emeka Ike. Rather, I want to market all my movies on the label
of Emeka Ike Production. If you want to deal with me as an actor, you
have to work with me under the label. That clearly separates me from
Nollywood.”

What You think Guys?
ADULTS Only: "How Can I Stop Having Séx with My Brother-in-law?" - Lady
I think I have had it enough, and it’s even becoming more habitual as I always have a fast one with him even when my husband is in the house. My fear is that my husband will soon understand the gimmicks, if we continue in the escapade.
I’m very sorry to say this, but I think I’m an addict, as I get to my pick when I cheat on my husband. I also enjoy it more when it’s done swiftly; just that alone satisfies my libido. However, the reason why I’m so attached to this guy is because he is a complete man. No man can do what he does to me; in fact, it’s unspeakable.
When I met my husband 10 years ago, I knew he was my kind of man, as he was able to satisfy me the very night we met. We both met in one of the universities in the North. We got married just 3 years ago and here I’m trying to battle out of some addiction. I know it’s shameful, but it’s really hard for me to fight.
I had vowed never to be callous to him in any way until his younger brother finished his University programme and came into our house last year. Two months after he got into that house, the entire story changed. We had our first night when my husband went on an official trip. I can’t give you the details of how it all happened, but it was the most regrettable night, as I regretted my action after then. We both concealed it, and pretended nothing ever happened, but from that moment, and even as my husband returned, he has not been able to satisfy me the way his brother did. This has kept me glued to his brother. Most of the time, I sneak out of bed to the toilet at night where we normally meet to do the dirty thing.
I will deliberately wake my husband when he is at the pick of his sleep, informing him that I was going to the toilet. I would always make sure I get back to the room within 5 minutes, but I tell you, I often return satisfied.
I’m gradually losing my joy and dignity as a married woman because of this development. It’s even becoming a daily occurrence, especially now that my shop has been closed permanently due to the ongoing crisis around my area, and I’m always at home with him in the morning. In fact, even as I write this note, I just doubt if we won’t have it the whole of today. I’m really not happy doing this, and I can’t even tell my husband. I know that the very moment he gets hold of the truth, he will throw me out of the house. I won’t tell him, I will protect my marriage. The brother is just so comfortable with what we are doing, as he has never discussed the negative side of our rough game with me. But the problem is that, at the most quiet time, especially when we are alone, and we look at each other, we just can’t stop doing it.
What is the solution please? is my case medical, spiritual or biological? I need your candid advice. I need to find a solution as I cannot continue like this, even as I don’t have a clue.
Rick Ross Cancels North Carolina Shows, Gang Threats Suspected
The Teflon Don was scheduled to perform in Charlotte and Greensboro Friday and Saturday (Dec. 7 and Dec. 8) respectively, but the shows were abruptly called off yesterday evening. A report in The Charlotte Observer links the cancellation to recent death threats made against Rozay and his entire Maybach Music Group by N.C.-based members of the gang known as the Gangster Disciples, which recently posted a YouTube video warning the rapper to watch where he travels.
The Gangster Disciples' beef with Ross originally stems from his invocation of their leader Larry Hoover on his hit single "BMF." Most recently, the MMG founder drew the ire of the gang by using the six-point Star of David on his Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape cover. The star, in addition to being an emblem of the Jewish faith, is also the official logo of the Gangster Disciples.
On Twitter, Rozay apologized to fans in North Carolina.
"North Carolina I wuz so excited to perform tomorro wit #MMG," he wrote. "Promoters cancelled show but I'll be Back ASAP. #luv"
Live Nation, who is putting on the tour, has already begun issuing refunds to those who purchased tickets. MMG members Meek Mill and Wale were also scheduled to perform.
UPDATE
According to AllHipHop.com, Rick Ross has canceled the remaining dates on his Maybach Music Group tour. The Miami hip hop star and his labelmates Meek Mill and Wale had planned to visit five more dates on the trek, ending in New York on Dec 16. However, concerns about the safety of fans has forced promoters to pull the plug on the shows.
Ross issued a statement about the cancellations,
"I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities. I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I’m ready to get back in the studio to make good music."
Lioness Kills Antelope, Adopts Its Child (PHOTOS)
Nature photographer Adri De Visser captured some incredible scenes of lioness adopting a helpless baby antelope just after she killed its mother.
After eating a Ugandan Kob, the lioness noticed the orphaned baby. She started roaring to make it go away, however, later her maternal instincts took over, and she picked the baby antelope like it was her own cub.
While in some pictures it looks like the lioness is about to eat the calf, visitors in the Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda, later said that they saw the baby antelope running around

3 Million Condoms For Calabar Festival
Cross River State Agency for the Control of HIV and AIDS has acquired more than three million condoms for distribution at the Christmas Carnival village in Calabar.
The
Director-General of the agency, Dr. Irene Aniyom, told the News Agency
of Nigeria at the village in Calabar on Sunday that the measure was to
create more awareness on HIV and check the prevalence level.
She
explained that the youths were targeted in the distribution of condom
because they were the active participants at the annual carnival.
She added that SACA and her partners would also offer free counselling and test on the scourge during the 32-day event.
Aniyom
advised youths against using the festival as avenue for sexual
activities, warning that “even if they should indulge in such practice,
they should ensure that they use condom”.
She said Calabar South Local Government Area and Calabar Municipality Local Government had the highest HIV and AIDS prevalence.
She said 244,106 persons in the state were currently living with the HIV and AIDS.
She
advised tourists and fun seekers patronising the festival village to
avail themselves of the free counseling and test offered by the agency
during the period.
“There
is the need for people to take advantage of the testing and counselling
to know their HIV status. This will enable them to control their
excesses,” she said.
The
SACA boss stated that Cross River was one of the states in the country
that was making conscious effort to tackle HIV and AIDS.
“Gov
Liyel Imoke is the Chairman of SACA in our state and he had done so
much in supporting the agency. Whatever achievement we have made, we owe
it to him,” she said.

Séx starved woman Who Had Séx 10 Times A Day Dies After Having Too Much Sex
A woman dubbed the Nymphomaniac of Munich because of her insatiable séxual appetite has been found dead.
Séx-crazed Antje Crapnik (47), could not say 'nein' to men and would prowl the German city's bars in search of romping partners.
The curvy blonde twice hit the headlines for imprisoning lovers and forcing them to repeatedly have séx with her. She lured men back to her apartment wearing skin-tight dresses revealing her ample bosom and drenched in perfume.
One evening in April she met DJ Dieter Schultz and took him back to her flat where they had séx three times. But that wasn't enough for Antje and when Schultz tried to leave she locked the door and hid the keys. He told police she forced him to have séx another five times. When she finally fell asleep he dashed to the balcony and called the cops.
He told them: "You have got to help me. She is trying to kill me with séx. I cannot get out and I cannot go in."
When police smashed down the door to get in she begged the officers for a threesome. Antje was sent to a psychiatrist to be treated for séx addiction and told doctors she needed séx at least ten times a day every day.
The treatment failed and a few days later she left a secure hospital to catch a bus back home - and picked up a 31-year-old man on the way. When they got back to the flat she hid his phone, locked the door and subjected him to a 36-hour séx ordeal. After he escaped he was found by passers-by naked and crying.
He told them: "I met her on a bus. She invited me back here. Oh God, it was hell. I can't walk."
When police arrived she again invited them for séx saying she wanted "a triple".
She was sent back to a psychiatric unit and released under the supervision of social workers but neighbours said they still saw her bringing back two or three men at once.
Last night her mother said Antje was a tortured soul whose depression had triggered her obsession with séx. Her husband had ditched her because he said she was too old and she had since become obsessed with wanting to prove she was still attractive.
German cops are waiting for the full post mortem but have ruled out foul play - they believe a cocktail of booze, drugs and séx caused her heart to stop.

How Kidnappers Seized Nigeria Finance Minister Okonjo-Iweala’s Mother From The Palace
The kidnap of Professor Kamene Okonjo, the 82-year old mother of Nigeria's finance minister Ngozi okonjo-Iweala was executed by a group of daredevil kidnappers who disguised as palace guards while her husband was traveling in Abuja.
A man in police custody who allegedly led the kidnappers to Mrs. Okonjo's compound a few minutes before the incident took place was said to have informed the housemaid that he was in the palace to take the queen mother to somewhere in the town for a traditional event.
Other kidnappers numbering 10 were lurking around the palace until Mrs. Okonjo and her maid came down to offer refreshments to some men working to fix the palace gate.
Eyewitness accounts said that as soon as the woman stepped out of the main building, heading towards the gate, the kidnappers moved in from the gate, and pushed her into a waiting Volkswagen Golf car.
In a telephone chat, one of the palace chiefs, who requested anonymity, told our reporter that the abductors were armed to teeth, and that had taken hostage the workers at the gate who were fixing interlocking tiles in the palace, ordering them to lie face down.
“Immediately they saw our king’s wife, the Queen Mother who was coming towards the gate with her maid to serve the workers soft drinks, she was seized and thrown into a waiting Golf car while another car was parked outside”.
Another eyewitness further said: “One of kidnappers, bracing all odds, went upstairs to collect the Queen Mother’s handbag. Another maid who sighted the kidnapper upstairs hid herself in the kitchen.”
Professor Okonjo is a retired profesor of sociology at the University of Nigeria (UNN) Nsukka.
Photo: “I don’t want to die!” Pleads 63-Yr-Old Widow With Cancer Of The Anus… Sleeps On Her Knees
Mrs.
Janet Ogbonna, 63, has been diagnosed of cancer of the anus since 2008
at the Federal Medical Center, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Umuahia, Abia
State and she needs help as she has allegedly been denied all forms of
support since her husband died, more than two decades ago.
Her
son, Uchechukwu has practically dropped out of school to take care of
his dying mother. Moreso, the owner of their one-room apartment located
on the popular Refinery Road, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area,
Delta State, had served the family quit notice.
For
the past six years, Mrs. ogbonna has not laughed; sorrow has been her
companion, as she moved across the country in search of cure for the
strange illness which has plagued her.
What is standing between life and death for her is N10.8 million, which is what is required to take her to India for treatment.
Besides
the excruciating pain, Mrs. Ogbonna is passing through an offensive
odour that oozes out of her room; she can neither walk nor stand
straight because of the ailment.
On
the ejection notice to the family, Uchechukwu said, “The worst is that
we have been given a quit notice to vacate the one-room apartment we
are staying in, That has compounded our problem and, you know the people
of this area, nobody will allow my mother to pack into his or her
compound in that condition. Where do we go from here, Imo State or
where?
“Even
if we decide to go back to our state, Imo, where do we start from? That
is the reason I am calling for help to raise N10.8 million for her
treatment in India. We have gone to churches, hospitals but nothing
seems to be happening.
“If
my mother bounces back to life, I wouldn’t mind packing to anywhere but
in her present condition, it is not possible to get a house. I want her
to be treated. My mother is still a young woman. I do not want to lose
my only surviving parent now; hence I am making this passionate appeal
for the public to come to our aid.
“Please
we beg the public to come our aid. Please, we beg the public to help us
to survive this. Now, the ailment has degenerated from the stage we
were referred to India for proper treatment.”

How Govt Pressured Me To Implicate Babangida, El-Rufai, Others In 2010 Bombing – Okah
Charles Okah, a suspected member of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), blamed for the 2010 Independence Day bomb that killed at least 10 people with many more injured, has written to the Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, saying he was pressured by government to implicate leading opposition figures in the incident.
“At
the SSS Headquarters Abuja where we were flown to, blindfolded with our
legs and hands bound, my ‘cooperation’ was solicited for something
completely different to my surprise,” Mr. Okah, whose younger brother is
being tried in South Africa over the same allegation, said in his
November 19, 2012 letter from the Kuje Prison in Abuja. “My captors
threw me a lifeline; offering me our freedom and a lucrative contract in
exchange for false testimony against my younger brother Henry, who is
resident in South Africa.
“I
was to write a false statement claiming to have been told by Henry
about the bomb plot and naming the following persons as his
conspirators: Former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, Chief
Raymond Dokpesi, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Chief Timipre Sylva, and Dr.
Emmanuel Uduaghan. I bluntly refused.”
Mr. Okah has been in prison custody since 2010 after he was over the incident.
Mr.
Okah’s younger brother had also said in a shocking court depositions a
few months ago said Mr. Jonathan and his aides organized the attacks in a
desperate political strategy to demonize political opponents, and win
popular sympathy ahead of the 2011 elections.
“The
purpose of the 14 March 2010 bombing in my opinion was to create an
atmosphere of insecurity in the Niger Delta where President Goodluck
Jonathan at that time, was fighting to oust the governor Mr. Emmanuel
Uduaghan whom President Goodluck Jonathan intended to replace with his
Minister for Niger Delta, Mr Godsday Orubebe,” Mr. Okah said in a
194-page affivadavit obtained by PREMIUM TIMES.
“The
bombing on 1 October 2010 was a platform for the elimination of
political opposition from the north in the form of General Ibrahim
8abangida. The bombing of 1 October 2010 was also intended by the
President Goodluck Jonathan Government to create anti North sentiments
nationwide in order to galvanize support from other sections of Nigeria
against other northern candidates in the Presidential elections,” he
said.
In
his letter to Cardinal Okogie, Charles Okah has now leveled the same
allegation against the administration, saying he is being persecuted for
refusing to implicate opposition elements as requested by government.
He also talked about the poor treatment he and his colleagues were facing in prison custody.

Your Eminence:
October 1 2010 Bomb Blast Setup and Government Double Standard
Greetings
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and I hope this letter meets you
well. The reasons I choose to direct this letter to you are that I am a

Lagos.
I

name is Charles Tonbra Okah, aka Billy Bones. On October 16, 2010 my
residence in Apapa GRA was invaded by operatives of the State Security
Services on the warrant that I was the suspected spokesman for MEND
using the pseudonym
“Jomo Gbomo.” My eldest son, visiting from the United States where he attends the University of Kansas (KU) was also arrested.
At
the SSS Headquarters Abuja where we were flown to blindfolded with our
legs and hands bound, my ‘cooperation’ was solicited for something
completely different to my surprise. My captors threw me a lifeline;
offering me our freedom and a lucrative contract in exchange for false
testimony against my younger brother Henry, who is resident in South
Africa. I was to write a false statement claiming to have been told by
Henry about the bomb plot and naming the following persons as his
conspirators: Former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, Chief
Raymond Dokpesi, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, Chief Timipre Sylva, and Dr.
Emmanuel Uduaghan. I bluntly refused.
To
maintain pressure on me, I was told that my son would be implicated in
the bomb matter, my containers of legitimate imports then at the Tin Can
Port would be impounded and my business destroyed. I still did not
budge, tossing their lifeline back with royal disdain.
When
they realized I was not going to connive in their scheme, they became
formal and reverted to the main reason for my arrest. I was asked for
the MEND password which I told them I did not know. They bound me in a
chair, took off my trousers and clamped a device to my penis. My legs
were then put inside a basin of water. The device when turned on passed a
high voltage of electricity to my body and I lost consciousness. This
was on Monday October 18 at about 6pm. When I regained consciousness, I
discovered I was at the National Hospital emergency room. I remember the
doctors asking why I had trauma marks on my chest where the SSS doctor
performed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The SSS operatives
were
evasive in answering questions at the hospital. That night I was
released and taken to rest for the night at the State House Clinic. That
was the last time a torture was carried out on me.
My
son was eventually released after Mr. Femi Falana visited in the
company of my wife after a month of being denied access to a lawyer.
However, my containers have been impounded up to date and my bank
account frozen.
The
SSS stopped asking about the MEND password after Jomo Gbomo made
another statement while I was in their custody but refused to still let
me go because I did not cooperate earlier with them. Meanwhile in the
ongoing trial in South Africa, Henry is accused of being the same Jomo
Gbomo by the same people who say I am JG.
Double Standard in Kuje Prison:
On
December 24, 2010 we were remanded in Kuje prison as a result of our
application to be removed from the SSS detention cell. Unknown to us,
the SSS passed instructions from “above” to the prison authorities to
carry out “special treatment” in order to stampede us into a trial
towards conviction. For 2 years we have been locked up in solitary
confinement, are not allowed to exercise or get sunlight outside and are
forced to sleep on the floor when bunk beds are available. Even a court
order by Justice Gabriel Kolawole to the prison for a change in our
confinement style was ignored after it was superseded by an ‘order from
above.”
In
late 2011, while locked up inside our cell block, prison officials
clothed in protective apparel, face masks and gloves carried out
fumigation without opening us to wait outside. Our protests fell on deaf
ears and by the time they were finished we were in distress.
The
Youth Corper doctor on call tried her best within her limits to the
emergency she was confronted with. The poisonous gas and barbaric action
reminiscent of the Nazi concentration camp infamous gas chambers,
eventually led to the death of one Francis Osuwo, aka Gboko, also roped
into this case by the SSS and a man I have never met before.
Interestingly,
the four persons in detention were strangers to each other except for
one Obi Nwabueze who is a family friend and close associate of Henry.
The
fumigant, whose chemical constituent were never relayed to us, have
affected my neurological system and I have been on a daily prescription
of strong neurological medication prescribed by a neurologist of the
National Hospital, Professor Bwala.
While
the Boko Haram suspects at Kuje prison are allowed to worship in the
prison mosque, we have never set foot in the prison chapel. They are
also enjoying privileges such as cable television, radio, liberty to
move within the prison walls, bunk beds to sleep on and phone calls to
their families. We are denied all of the above.
When
I asked the current Controller of FCT Command the reason for the
disparity, he said “the fear of Boko Haram is the beginning of wisdom.”
He further said the Moslem community was concerned about their welfare
in custody.
Double Standard in the Court:
Even
in the Courts where justice is supposed to be blind, the double
standard is glaring. While Senator Ndume, accused of being a financier
to Boko Haram was given bail by the same Judge presiding over our case,
we have been denied bail.
I
understand that this Senator was permitted by the same court to travel
on his religious obligation to Mecca for the lesser Hajj while we are
refused from attending mass in a chapel less than 50 meters from our
cell block.
The
court is willing to permit the Senator approval to travel abroad for
his medical check if he can provide proof that such check up is not done
locally. Meanwhile, I have been denied my application to go on a
compulsory checkup which in my case is mandatory for a kidney donor,
having donated my left kidney to my mother 30 years ago.
Our
cases have been adjourned repeatedly for cruelly long durations. The
last time I appeared in court was March 2012 and the next adjourned date
is January 31, 2013, that is if that date will not be shifted again
under a flimsy excuse.
All
we ask is for a free and fair justice from an independent Judiciary
that should release us instead of holding us as scapegoats over an
obvious power show. While this government continues holding us hostage,
our families are becoming destitute.
Our
rights to freely worship as Catholics is being infringed by the state
who have more respect for Islam when all religions should be treated
equally.
Double Standards in the Polity:
The
National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) was quoted as saying
that the government of President Goodluck Jonathan has the phone
numbers of suspected Boko Haram sponsors. Later the Inspector General of
Police said certain
individuals had been put on a “watch list” as suspected Boko Haram sponsors.
Now
the big question is why did the government not simply have our phone
numbers and put us also on its ‘watch list” while we move about freely?
They did not hesitate to arrest us, clamp us on trumped-up charges and
detain us on flimsy excuses. They did not merely talk, they took action
even in South Africa where
my brother was arrested since 2010. Is there a better word to describe this other than hypocrisy?
The
same government eager to negotiate with Boko Haram who claimed
responsibility for over 100 attacks where Catholics have suffered the
brunt, have refused to negotiate with MEND and continue to delude
themselves that all is well.
Why
would this government expect Boko Haram to unmask it leaders and
negotiate when they can see that perceived leaders and supporters of
MEND are being persecuted and jailed?
I welcome a fact-finding visit from the Church in the company of credible Human Rights groups to verify our allegations.
On
the two occasions Kuje Prison was visited by the Bishop of Abuja during
the Christmas of 2010 and 2011, he was surreptitiously steered away
from where were we are held hostage and I believe he has no idea of what
is going in inside Kuje prison.
Our
prayers is that leaders of our Churches will be more sensitive and
proactive in politics of the land that touches the lifes of their
followers and not leave delicate issues solely in the hands of corrupt
and selfish politicians, and majority of the population rid of a
“Potiphar” mentality who believe lies when
told by SSS.
May God save our beloved country.
Yours Sincerely,
Charles T. Okah
