R&B star Chris Brown fortunately avoided disaster when a private jet he was on was forced to carry out an emergency landing.
CB
had boarded the flight at Burbank airport in California to fly over to
New York for the star-studded Met Gala on Monday when a few minutes into
the journey the cockpit filled with smoke.
The
pilot of the Gulfstream 3 jet was then forced to swiftly turn the
aircraft around and perform an emergency landing back in Burbank.
Unfazed
by the dramatic events Chris, 24, boarded a second flight within an
hour to head to the Big Apple and made it just in time to attend the
after-party having missed the main event.
Chris
was accompanied at the bash by a mystery brunette who walked the red
carpet at his side just days after he revealed he and Rihanna are no
longer an item.
Chris continued to air his feelings about the abrupt end of their reconciled relationship on Twitter.
Chris
then posted links to several of his more up-front tracks where he talks
about his life and love on the social networking site.
